Funny that for Valentines Day I'd choose something so unrelated to love, unless you count this as my love for Urban Outfitters. :-) Their clothes make me really happy.

Today at the beach I rediscovered how much I love black and white photography. It has a way of making everything look so simple, it really tones down certain elements of a photo.

I went down to the beach with some of my friends so that we could film a video to say happy birthday to our friend in China. We pretended to dig a hole to China. In the rain. Now THAT is true friendship right there.

The lovely owl necklace again. I'm not entirely sure why everything about this picture is blue, I guess I was just messing around with settings so much that this is what happened.

I was in a very muted and blue mood today, not entirely sure why. The top one is a new necklace that I got during my session of retail therapy. It has an owl on it! Bottom one is my outfit for the day, nothing too exciting today. American Apparel skirt and a sweatshirt meant for a 10 year old that I got in a $5 mystery bag at a thrift store. And my sketch book. I don't really draw as much anymore, but I used to draw quite a bit. Never anything serious, just some weird doodles of people with over sized heads and cityscapes like in 500 Days of Summer. Yes, I am absolutely OBSESSED with that movie!!!

My friend and I decided that this week is gonna be our "out there" week for fashion. Normally we both wear jeans and a sweatshirt, but this week we're trying to wear something that we wouldn't normally wear every day. I have to admit, I'm already running out of ideas on what I should wear. I only have an outfit planned for tomorrow, and then I need to come up with something else. I really hope I end up being able to pull this off.

In case you can't tell, today I wore blue Urban Outfitters shoes, black nylons, an Urban Outfitters dress, and an American Apparel hoodie. Yeah, I know the shoes look purple in the picture, but they really actually aren't!
