I hate world studies homework so much.
But the History Day competition worked out well! Remember how much I was complaining about History Day and how my laptop crashed and blah blah blah? Weeeell, I got first in my room at regionals! So exciting!!! That means that I get to go on to state with my documentary and compete for a chance to go to Washington DC for nationals. This is exciting, I never win stuff like this.

Turtles are awesome.
Went to the Japanese tea garden on Sunday, but I haven't had time to get on the home computer until today. I really wish my laptop would let me upload pictures because that would be so much easier, but it's stupid and won't.
I really like the tea garden, it's on the side of a really busy road so you can hear all the cars and planes when you're in it, but it's so pretty. My mom and I expected the cherry blossoms to be in bloom since they are everywhere else, but they're not. Dang. I guess that just means that we have to go again! :D

Got a new dress and hat from Urban Outfitters today! :) I am definitely in love with that store, even if they are super expensive.

78/365

Tired and ready to go back to bed.

77/365

Well I thought it looked kind of cool.
The night before History Day I was printing out all my stuff for my entry description. I plan in advance, can you tell?

76/365

Because I get bored, okay?
Not to mention I love how easy the light is when I turn off all my lights in my room except the lamp. It's the kind of lighting that makes me smile. But that doesn't make much sense....

75/365

This challenge is killing me.
I'm so sick of having to remember to take a picture every day and I hate having to post my photos online even if they're crappy pictures I took with my cell phone. I can't wait to be done and I'm only 75 days in.

74/365

I have nothing left to say about my photos. I was very bored and needed to take a picture.

73/365

Someone wrote love on the door of a bathroom stall and I thought it was kinda cool.

72/365

Went out to dinner with my uncles and family, Anthony's the waterfront. There was a fish sculpture in the lobby that was covered in baseballs signed by the Mariners. Pretty sweet.

71/365

My $killz are so rad that I can balance salt shakers. Heck yes that will get me into Stanford!

70/365

I need to remember to take real pictures instead of crappy cell phone ones.
BUT funny story about this picture, it's the marching band from my school in 1998 or so. It's now 2010 and our uniforms haven't changed. At all.

69/365

They said I didn't turn in my hours on time :-(

68/365

It's been way too long since I've uploaded. Time for a mass update to my blog.
Funny, it seems like I just did that.

66+67/365 are sad days

I FEEL SO FREAKING GUILTY!!!!
I forgot to take a picture for both of these days and I am so mad at myself! It's like I cheated on a diet or something.

Argh.

65/365

HOLY CRAP! This took me forever to edit on photoshop. I changed the effect to look like a vintage lomo and then put the two pictures side by side. I really don't like photoshop, but I have nothing better to do.
Not true, actually. I should be doing homework.
But anyways, we had a booster auction tonight for school and I was selling raffle tickets. The theme was 50's, hence the totally awesome dress and shoes. The dress is my friends, shoes are mine. And btw, that thing in my hand is a star, sorry if you couldn't tell.

64/365

My brother and I are so cool.
We had dinner with the fam at a sushi restaurant and we noticed that we could see our reflections in the side of the belt with sushi on it, so of course we had to take a picture. It actually could've been kind of cool if I had my real camera with me.

63/365

Dear shoes,
I'm sick of wearing you. Go away.
Thanks,
Rika
Actually, no, I like these shoes.
Bleh, finally all caught up with uploading my pictures. I'm realizing that photography is kind of like a sport, if you take a break from it then when you come back, you're out of shape. It's kinda hard for me to take a technically and visually appealing picture right now. I blame laziness.

62/365

Well, I got the order of pictures mixed up while I was posting them, but am I motivated enough to fix it? No. I THINK I took this one yesterday, but it could've been on Tuesday and Tuesday's could have been yesterday but who cares?

61/365

Evan knits a scarf! And then uses it as a turban...
He actually knitted this while we were on the bus to and from Idaho.

60/365

My skin is oompa loompa colored and it's making me incredibly happy. NAWT!!!

59/365

On the way back from Idaho :)
We wrote a song on the bus about Idaho and what an awesome time we had there. The guy that I was sitting across from (our guitar player who came up with the idea for a song) had been sleeping, and then he woke up and started drawing on my hand. After a while he was like "I ran out of things to draw..." and went back to sleep. Personally, I like it. I'd totally want to get an actual tattoo of this.

58/365

Well this pretty much sums up my day.
Hanging out in a mall for lunch while we were all wearing our concert clothes. We wandered into a Payless Shoes store and my friend decided to be a secret agent, complete with his suit, sunglasses, and a white pleather purse.
This is so hot my eyeballs are burning.

57/365

I'm actually legitimately embarrassed to upload these. I remembered I needed to take a picture for the day while I was sitting on the floor in the music building at WSU, so this is what I got for the day. Pretty spiffy, is it not?*
*Yeah, that's definitely sarcasm.

56/365

And so begins the long chain of crappy pictures.
My story behind why they're so bad: I took a trip to Idaho with the jazz band. Idaho, that's bad enough, but with the jazz band? I had no time to take any pictures, and I was ALWAYS wearing pants and jackets without pockets on the trip so I couldn't take my camera anywhere. Most of these pictures are gonna be from my phone because I really didn't have time to do anything else.

55/365

Did some painting with a lot of grey and white and black.

54/365

CAUTION: Wearing your heart on your sleeve often results in heartbreak.

53/365

Of course I'm sure this is the right picture for the day! ...Not...
It's my latest project, trying to figure out if my friend's ancient 35mm camera still works. So far the verdict is an astounding no.

52/365

Was this the right picture for the day? Ugh, I don't know, it was too long ago.
Frick, I have so much catching up to do. I haven't uploaded any pictures in forever, but I have been taking a picture every day! Argh, why did I wait so long to update?! Now I have to go through and figure out which pictures are from which day, but I'm probably NOT gonna do that. So for the next few entries, the pictures might not be on the right day, but I did take a picture every day.
